Midland County Voter Information
Judges are bipartisan positions. Midland County will elect the next Probate Judge in the 2024 General Election. If more than two candidates are registered, all voters regardless of party, will vote in the 2024 Primary Election to narrow the race down to two candidates.

Polls are open 7am to 8pm on Election Day

In Person Early Voting
Any Midland County Voter can vote during the 9 day early voting period. Early Voting begins 11 days (Saturday) before Election Day and ends 2 days before Election Day (Sunday).
Available for State and Federal Elections Only. Midland County Early Voting Center is at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library. Located at 1710 W St Andrews Rd, Midland, MI 48640.

Absentee Voting
Any registered voter can vote with an absentee ballot.
The 2024 Presidential Primary is the last election the State of Michigan is supporting the permanent absentee application list. Voters who want to automatically be mailed a ballot for all future elections may complete an application online.
Absentee Ballots are due by 8:00pm on Election Day.
Voter Registration
New Voters or Voters who have changed their name or address may register by mail or online up to 15 days before the election day. They may also register at the local Clerk's office until 8pm on Election Day
